COMPUTATIONAL MEDICINE COURSE
Computational medicine has been developed by Dr Matt Williams and Dr Caroline Morton, two doctors who have an interest in using the computing to solve interesting research and clinical problems.
They currently run a short introductory course called ‘Coding for Medics’ at Imperial College London. This two-day course takes novice coders in form of medical students, doctors and researchers and aims to teach them basic coding skills in a short intense period of time.
A longer module called ‘Computational Medicine’ has been developed for Imperial College London Medical School and the first students started in late February 2018. This course will run every year. If you are a medical student who is interested in coming to do your intercalated BSc with us, please get in touch.
