PATIENT & PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT

Many research groups and companies need help to understand patient and carer views around care, trials and technologies. This can be difficult for those outside healthcare to access, or to understand how patients and carers feel about the options they are given.

 

We have a lot of experience with designing and leading patient & public involvement in cancer patients and more widely. This includes traditional focus-group style work, but also much more detailed and long-running programs, such as the Capable trial that explored the use of new ways of assessing QoL.

 

We have experience clinical and non-clinical PPI facilitators, and have experience of working across a range of projects and patient groups. These range from exploring thoughts about AI in cancer patients to designing complex new interventional trials in brain tumour patients
