TRAINING, SKILLS & PARTNERSHIPS

One of the things we realised early on is that there is a very small pool of people with the combination of computational and clinical expertise. A major focus of our group has been to provide training and skills to improve this  situation. We ran some of the first clinical programming courses - Coding for Medicine and Computational Medicine - and produced the accompanying textbook (Computational Medicine, Elsevier). We provide ongoing teaching and training in Computational Medicine through a variety of approaches.

One way of doing this is our partnerships with other organisations. We help provide practical support and training to organisations working with analysing clinical data from both commerical and 3rd sector.
